The Many Benefits of Following a Self Care Blog.

Since we were first taught to read, we've been told that literature can be an escape from our everyday life. Falling in love with fiction is one thing, reading for your own mental health is quite another. If you are someone who is dealing with anxiety, depression, anger, or any other mental health issue, you've come to the right place. Today, we are going to be introducing you to the self care blog, Mental Gaze. Mental Gaze is owned and operated by Juliette Clarke. As a teen who has struggled with mental health throughout her life, Juliette is ready to share her story with the world to inspire others to do the same.


Following a self care blog may be a very different experience if it is new to you. A self care blog can, at times, feel like a personal blog. With that being said, Juliette's focus with Mental Gaze is to share experiences in her life that reverberate with her readers, thus opening the doors for communication and intergroup discussion. Learning about someone's mental health journey will allow you to reflect on your own, as well. It is through this aspect that a healthy community surrounding mental health discussions can flourish.


We've long known that reading is beneficial to our health. We also know that journaling is incredibly beneficial to our emotional wellbeing. With a personal blog, you can share your own journey with the world, thus relieving some of the burdens that you may feel.
